Conest Announces the Release of SureCount Version 5.1 Takeoff Software for Electrical Contractors

Conest today announced an upgrade of their takeoff software SureCount version 5.1, making the best takeoff software even better. The software upgrade includes new features such as “Assign Drawing Dialog” and feature enhancements, “Edit Drawing Dialogs” and “Edit Symbols Group.” New SureCount license purchases will receive the most recent release, SureCount Version 5.1.

SureCount was created to add another level of estimating tools to provide easier takeoffs that are more efficient to manage and to reduce the amount of paper plans and the associated cost. The SureCount version 5.1 release improves function and performance by taking advantage of new software technologies and techniques in this exciting field, with a few new features as well. Additionally, customer preferences and fixes have been addressed in this release.
This upgrade includes:
- The ability to rename a drawings description has been updated that reduces the time involved.
- Users now have the ability to resort multiple drawings at once.
- The ability to re-order the symbol group names to better suit the user’s needs and requirements.
- Updated Assign Phase dialog that adds the ability to use IntelliBid’s Takeoff settings for Material, Labor Factors and Multipliers for specific drawings and phases. Also, the ability to change or clear phase settings is now quick and easy.
- New option to Import all drawings into set phase form.
Availability & Additional Conest Product Upgrades
The software upgrade is available immediately. New licenses that are purchased will include the upgraded version and existing customers can get the software upgrade by logging into the Conest Customer Portal http://bbs.Conest.com/library/list/libs/ There have been minor upgrades to IntelliBid version 8.1 and JobTrac version 5 that can also be accessed on the portal.
