ConEst IntelliBid training class in 2013!

Our new course curriculum and class schedule has been designed to give you more options and to enhance your learning experience. Choose the level or levels you want to attend to meet your training needs, or attend the full week for a comprehensive review of IntelliBid including focused training on the program's advanced features and how to customize the database to specifically address your company's needs.

 


Classes are held 8:00 am - 5:00 pm daily with a 12:00-1:00 lunch break. Click locations above for hotel info.
Laptops and training materials are provided for each attendee to use during training.

IntelliBid Level I Basic Training

This training module focuses on the fundamentals of using IntelliBid to produce an estimate. The class is designed for beginners who are looking to maximize their knowledge of the software. Students will learn to setup their company contacts to create a job and how to use IntelliBid's journal message center to send and track project documents and correspondence. Learn to work with IntelliBid's Phase Tree to easily setup project breakdowns specific for each project and how using Job Spec will speed the estimating process by letting IntelliBid choose the specified material for you. Students will work through a number of hands-on exercises to become proficient with takeoff and a completed bill of material and labor. Students will also be shown the options they have with IntelliBid for updating their material prices. Working with quotes will also be detailed through all aspects of bid closing using Bid Recap including how to send out a bid proposal from IntelliBid. IntelliBid Level II Advanced Training

This training module focuses on IntelliBid's Smart System™ Technology with an emphasis on the program's advanced takeoff features. The class is designed for students who have completed their Introductory I or II online training, Level I training or for students already working with the program and who want to expand their knowledge and skills. Students will learn how produce more estimates in less time using IntelliBid's Count Sheets and Direct Takeoff features and will be shown how to quickly make a custom assembly on-the-fly using Temporary Assemblies. Value engineering techniques are also detailed using IntelliBid's Smart Substitution feature. Learn to substitute copper with aluminum feeders in seconds. Students will also learn to make quick work of project unit pricing requirements using the Advanced Breakout feature as well as how to create and submit Change Orders using IntelliBid.

IntelliBid Level III Database Maintenance

This training module focuses on customizing IntelliBid's database to best suit your company's specific needs. A working knowledge of IntelliBid is required as this class is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of intermediate, advanced and seasoned users. Students will learn how to work with the IntelliBid database to add custom items and headers, create custom libraries and catalogs, create and edit basic and advanced, time-saving assemblies. Students will also learn how to create and modify bid templates and communication templates. Key elements of the software that will be covered in this class include:
