Pritchard Electric Company was established May 10, 1962 by J. Robert (Bob) Pritchard. The company was incorporated October 1, 1965. Pritchard Electric Company is the largest electrical contractor in the Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia Tri-state area. Pritchard Electric is a founding member of ELECTRIC’21 and a member of NECA. Today Pritchard Electric Company sees average sales of approximately $25 million per year and employs 150 to 500 people. Pritchard Electric Company provides a full range of electrical services such as industrial, commercial, residential, distribution, fiber and data installations and maintenance.

Our industrial customers include Marathon Ashland refinery, AK Steel, Dow Chemical, DuPont, M&G Polymers, American Electric Power John Amos Power Plant, Supresta, Steel of West Virginia, Aristech Chemical and Shell Chemical. Our commercial projects and customers are Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, 5/3 Bank, Marshall University Holderby Hall Renovations, Ronald McDonald House of Huntington 3-story expansion, Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and the J. Robert Pritchard Dialysis Center.
